If someone suggests you exchange xmas gifts for the first time and you agree on something little is it rude ?
if they send you an ipod when you have sent them a book and a teddy and a mug. I think they broke the deal. Can an ipod really be construed as something little? It makes me feel bad. should it?
Its just my friend did that this xmas.

I want to decorate glass ornaments as xmas gifts. What is best way to decorate and what glue do I need to use?
I want to use pretty wrapping paper and include some personalization like Christmas 2007 on them. I received a similar ornament a few years back that is glass, but it looks like she used wrapping paper to cover it and glued personal messages on the wrapping paper. If anyone has tried this, please give me some details and what type of glue is needed
What is the proper etiquette with Xmas gifts?
This year I have limited my gift giving to my daughters, my husband, and my nieces and nephews.( because of finances) What do I do in reference to the rest of my family. Do I call them and tell them that I will not be getting them gifts? Do I just except their gifts? I am really unsure about how to handle this situation. What about my brother and sister? Every year we all get eachother gifts, this year I just can’t do it! So what do I do, I know there are many people that are getting me gifts, but I am not getting them something in return. Please, how do I handle this situation?
How much money to spend on parent's xmas gifts?
I’m 15, I work in the summer and a little bit throughout the year, and I save a lot of my money. Usually I don’t go over the top with Christmas gifts but I want to really wow them this year, as they pretty much spoil me on Christmas. Do you think 0 is way too much? Some of my friends don’t even buy their parents gifts…

I’m unemployed (and broke) so I’m giving the BF a shuffle, and I bought a case of teddy bears (I’m donating a teddy bear to a childrens charity on behalf of the other adults on my xmas list)
So I’ve spent about 120 bucks.
Which I realize isn’t much…
But I was wondering how much others spend.

how much is to much for when buying xmas gifts for my 1yr old daughter?
my daughter is almost 1 years old..i am a first time mom and this is infact my daughters 1st real christmas at home instead of the hospital, so of course i want to make it special for her! she is indeed quite spoiled and i dont want the over indulgment of gift buying to blur the true meaning of christmas for her.. her birthday is also very close to christmas being on december 12th she will be 1yrs old so she gets alot of gifts…how much is to much? how much should i spend on birthday and christmas? i know this is sort of a silly question and i also realize theres no true rule im just curious as almost a poll type question to see how you all feel on this matter..so to wrap it all up again how much money would you spend on one 1 yr old daughter? thanks for your help hearing all your answers will be quite intresting!
you all are so kind with your answers expecially about realizing and teaching the meaning of christmas is GIVING! NOT RECIEVING! I spoil her terribly and my worst fear is to have her act spoiled and snotty! i want to raise her to appreciate what she gets rather then the value or countity of things…i did spend 600 dollers on xmas and birthday combined so 600 in all not 1200 just 600 lol..i know thats quite a bit but it included a dora bedroom set and the deluxe dora kitchen that cost 70 bucks..her gifts were expensive and knowing what i know now i will not go all out like this again until she is old enough to even realize what she was given..she seemed to like a 10 doller dora doll better then any of the expensive gifts anyway.
