Where are some places to get inexpensive Xmas gifts for a 2 year old boy? (please read details)?
I’m a sophomore in college and don’t think I’ll have that much to spend on Xmas gifts this year.
However, I do have to get something really cool for my godson, who will be 2 years old.
I need ideas of places where I can get quality gift for less.
Thank you for your help!
fffgel – i have to get him something "really cool" because we’re greek and in the greek culture, it is known that the godparent always gets their godchild a nice, expensive, special gift.

Cool to him is a cardboard box. However, you can find some good kids’ toys on clearance at stores like Kohl’s, Tuesday Morning, Baby Depot, Walmart, Target, etc. I’d start looking for clearance and sale items and buy as you go along. Rarely will there be toys on sale in December. I’d recommend getting Geo Trax, Imaginext, or Hot Wheels. One thing I did with my nephew last Christmas was to take him (at age 3) on a special date. I picked him up and we went and saw a kid movie at the theater, went out to lunch, and I let him pick his own present at the store. It could be a great tradition for you!
